From Tuesday 02 to Wednesday 03 April 2024, the 14th Bilateral Military Cooperation between the Hellenic and French Navy, was held in Athens. The Greek delegation was headed by Commodore Stefanos Sarris HN, Director of the Α Branch, while the French was headed by Rear Admiral (LH) Jean-Marc Durandau, head of International Relations of the French Navy.
The talks were held in an excellent atmosphere and issues of mutual interest were discussed, highlighting the desire of both sides for further strengthening cooperation and promoting stability and development in the wider region of the Eastern Mediterranean. On the sidelines of the talks, the head of the French delegation had a brief meeting with the Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Rear Admiral Georgios Floros HN.
