The ship’s crest depicts Prometheus, the mythical benefactor and protector of humans who, in violation of Zeus' commandments, gave people fire.
Technical Characteristics
History
The current HS PROMETHEUS (A-374) was built at the Elefsina shipyards based on the plans of the support ship ETNA of the Italian Navy. Launch took place on 19-2-2002 and the raising of the Flag on 8-7-2003.
