On Sunday, March 13, 2022 the French Commander of the Naval Force (Task Force 473) of the Aircraft Carrier “CHARLES DE GAULLE”, Vice Admiral FRA-N Christophe Cluzel, visited HS HYDRA, in the context of her participation in Operation “CLEMENCEAU 22”, where he was briefed by the CO about her capabilities and operational characteristics. During the visit he had the opportunity to tour her premises and talk with the Officers and Crew.
The participation of HS HYDRA in Operation “CLEMENCEAU 22” takes place in the framework of the international collaborations of the Armed Forces and is part of the “Guidelines for the Upgrading of the Greek-French Military Cooperation” signed on January 21, 2022 between Chief of HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros and the Chief of Defense of France, General Thierry Burkhard, in implementation of the “Agreement on the Establishment of a Strategic Partnership for Cooperation in Defense and Security” between the Governments of the two Countries.
