From Monday 21 until Wednesday 23 of March 2022, the multinational exercise ¨NOBLE DINA 2022¨ was held in the East Mediterranean, with the participation of Naval assets from Greece, Israel, France, USA and Cyprus.
The Hellenic Navy participated with the Frigate (FFG) HS «NIKIFOROS FOKAS», the Fast Attack Craft (FAC) HS «GRIGOROPOULOS», the Submarine HS «OKEANOS», a helicopter and a Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA). Israel participated with three corvettes and a submarine, USA and France with an MPA respectively, and Cyprus with the Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) «IOANNIDIS», the General Support Ship «ALASIA» and a helicopter.
A wide range of training serials were carried out mostly focused on Anti-submarine warfare, live firing, Maritime Situational Awareness, Anti Surface Warfare, Search and Rescue and Medical Operations. ”NOBLE DINA” contributed to the enhancement of readiness, operational capability and cooperation among the participating units.
