On Sunday, March 27, 2022 the Hellenic Frigate “NAVARINON” and the German Frigate “LUEBECK” of the Standing NATO Maritime Group Two (SNMG 2) participated in a Passing Exercise (PASSEX) in the area of Central Aegean and Cyclades Islands. The exercise was conducted within the framework of international cooperation of the Hellenic Armed Forces in accordance with the HNDGS planning.
During PASSEX, several serials of naval exercises were carried out, such as maritime picture compilation and sharing, communications as well as advanced maneuvering.
This exercise contributed to the enhancement of operational readiness, combat capability and cooperation between the participating units within the bilateral and allied context.
