On Wednesday, 9 December 2025, the Deputy Commander in Chief of Hellenic Fleet, Rear Admiral Leonidas Anagnostopoulos HN, welcomed an Indian delegation to the Fleet Headquarters, at the Salamis Naval Base, led by Ms. Muanpuii Saiawi, Director General for Disarmament and Security at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
The delegation was briefed on the capabilities and operations of the Fleet Headquarters and visited HS LIMNOS and HS PIPINOS.
Furthermore, on Thursday, December 10, 2025, the Commander of the Hellenic Naval Academy, Rear Admiral Stavros Karlatiras HN, welcomed the Indian delegation to the Hellenic Naval Academy, where a briefing was conducted on the organization, operation, and educational programs of the Academy. The visit also included a tour of the main training and support facilities, a guided tour of the Naval History Museum of the HNA, as well as the Navigation Simulator.
The above visits took place on the sidelines of the 1st Round of the Greece–India Maritime Security Dialogue, which was held on Friday, December 11, 2025, in Athens.
