Cooperation of the Hellenic Navy with United States Navy units

        On Sunday 5th March 2017, HS KOUNTOURIOTIS sailing from Souda Naval Base conducted a passing exercise (PASSEX) in the southern Aegean Sea with naval units of the Carrier Strike Group 2 of the United States Navy, USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH, USS PHILIPPINE SEA and organic air assets.
