From Saturday October the 22th to Tuesday October the 25th, 2016, the Chief of the Kuwaiti Navy, Major General Khaled Ali Abdullah, paid an official visit to Greece, following a formal invitation extended by the HNGS Chief, Vice Admiral Georgios Giakoumakis HN.
On Monday, October 24, 2016 the Chief of the Kuwaiti Navy visited the HNGS, where he discussed with the HNGS Chief and was also informed on the HNGS’s activities.
Thereafter, he visited the Guided Missile Fast Patrol Boat KRYSTALLIDIS, at the Amfiali Naval Base, where he was welcomed by the Commander in Chief of the Hellenic Fleet, Vice Admiral Konstantinos Karageorgis HN. Finally, he visited the Naval Echelon of Elefsina, where he was welcomed by the HNGS Director of Armament Directory, Rear Admiral Nikolaos Kafetsis HN, and was informed on the construction of the last two ROUSSEN type Guided Missile Fast Patrol Boats.
