From 25 to 27 of November 2014, HNGS Chief Vice Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN, paid an official visit to Israel, following an invitation extended by the Israeli Naval Staff Chief, Vice Admiral Ram Rutberg.
During his stay, HNGS Chief discussed issues of mutual interest with his counterpart, Israeli Naval Staff Chief. Following this, he visited the Israeli Naval Forces Command and Control Center at the premises of the Ashdod Naval Base, several warships at Haifa’s Naval Base, as well as the Atlit Naval Base.
Last but not least, Vice Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN visited the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the Museum of the Holocaust ‘’Yad Vashem’’, and the Greek Ambassador in Israel.
