The name PRESPA is the name of two lakes of large and small Prespa. These two lakes are located in Western Macedonia, specifically in the prefecture of Florini. Some parts of these are international, the large Prespa has the name trinational because it is located between Greece, Albania and the former Yugoslav republic. The PRESPES lakes are typical Greek habitats with many waterfowl.

Ship's Weaponry

History

The ship was built at the Hellenic Shipyards of Skaramanga, Koronaios Brothers, in the year 1974 and was received on October 12, 1976, with the purpose of supplying arid islands with drinking water, warships and naval services. It joined the class of water-carrying bases bearing the international distinguishing mark SZDX and side number A-434.
