From Monday 1st to Thursday 11th November 2021, the multinational exercise “AEGEAN SEAL 21-I” was carried out in the sea area of the South Evian and the Saronic Gulf.
The exercise’s main training objects were Mine Hunting in Very Shallow Water (VSW) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). “AEGEAN SEAL 21-I” was hosted by the Hellenic Navy Special Forces Command while members and assets from EOD diver teams from Belgium, Germany, Latvia and Slovenia, as well as observers from Montenegro and Poland participated.
The exercise contributed to the promotion of the level of operational readiness, combat capability and cooperation among all participants.
