On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, a meeting between delegations from the Hellenic and Turkish Navies was held in Ankara, in the implementation context of the agreed 2024 Confidence Building Measures (CBMs). The Greek delegation was headed by Commodore Stefanos Sarris HN, Director of Branch A of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, while the Turkish delegation was headed by Rear Admiral Gokcen Firat.
During their visit to Ankara, the Greek delegation also visited the Embassy of Greece and met with Ambassador Mr. Theodoros Bizakis.
