The Hellenic Navy General Staff announces the entry of the Annual Naval Training “ARIADNE 14” from 6 to 17 November 2014 in the area of Ionian Sea and the Gulf of Patras.
In this year’s training will participate the following Naval Forces:
SNMCMG-2 (Standing NATO Mine Counter Measures Group 2), HS ADRIAS, HS KALYPSO, HS KALLISTO, HS KASSOS, FS FGS LYRE, BS BGR PRIBOY, the Under Water Demolition Command of Hellenic Navy, the Naval Command of Ionian as well as fighters of HAF (Hellenic Air Force).
In the context of the Naval Training, SNMCMG-2 which is currently leaded by the Italian Commander Captain Giovanni Piegaza, will doc at the port of Patras from 5 to 9 November 2014.
SNMCMG-2 is consisted by ITS AVIERE, FGS HOMBURG, TCG ERDEK, HMS GRIMSBY and the HS EUROPI.
