Change of Command At-Sea Ceremony of the European Operation “ASPIDES”

On Saturday, 14 March 2026, the Change of Command Ceremony of the European Operation “ASPIDES” (EUNAVFOR ASPIDES) took place at sea, with Commodore Grigorios Nousias HN handing over command to Italian Rear Admiral Milos Argenton.

The ceremony was held aboard the Italian Navy Frigate ITS LUIGI RIZZO and was attended by the Commander of the European Operation “ASPIDES”, Rear Admiral Vasileios Gryparis HN.
