On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, a delegation from the National Defence College of India, headed by Rear Admiral Sandeep Singh Sandhu, visited Fleet Headquarters at the Salamis Naval Base.
During the visit, Rear Admiral Sandeep Singh Sandhu met with the Commander in Chief of Hellenic Fleet, Vice Admiral Christos Sasiakos HN.
This was followed by a briefing on the activities of Fleet Headquarters, after which the delegation visited HS PIPINOS and HS SPETSAI.
In addition, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the National Defence College of India delegation visited the Souda Naval Base, where they were welcomed by the Commander of Souda Naval Base, Commodore Athanasios Douros HN. He briefed the delegation on the base’s facilities, capabilities, and activities.
