On Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the 16th Bilateral Military Cooperation between Hellenic Navy and French Navy was held in Athens. Head of the Greek delegation was Commodore Nektarios Gogos HN, Director of Branch A, while the French delegation was headed by Rear Admiral Nicolas Lambropoulos (Deputy Chief of Naval Staff for International Relations).
The talks were conducted in an excellent atmosphere, addressing issues of mutual interest and highlighting the mutual desire to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the talks, the head of the French delegation held a brief meeting with the Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Spyridon Lagaras HN.
