On Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the 4th Bilateral Military Cooperation between Hellenic Navy and Portuguese Navy was held in Athens.
The Greek delegation was headed by Commodore Nektarios Gogos HN, Director of Branch A, while the Portuguese delegation was headed by Rear Admiral António José de Jesus Neves Correia (Director of the Portuguese Naval Staff).
The talks were conducted in an excellent atmosphere, addressing issues of mutual interest and highlighting the mutual desire to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the talks, the head of the Portuguese delegation had a brief meeting with the Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Spyridon Lagaras HN.
