Gunboat NIKIFOROS, is the second Gunboat, that was entirely built and designed at the Greek shipyards of Skaramagka. She was commissioned there on the 30th of March 2004. From the day she was commissioned up until now, she has taken upon numerous missions, mostly among the islands of the Eastern Aegean and has participated in many Fleet exercises, both in larger and smaller scales. Apart from that, she has also participated in a lot of etiquette events, in many multinational missions overseas as well as some public benefit missions (Preventive Medicine, Evacuation of fire struck population).
