On Monday 15th June 2020, Commander Dimitris Katsouras HN assumed duties as Commander Allied Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group Two (SNMCMG2) relieving Romanian Commander Valentin-Catalin Vlad at Salamis Naval Base.
Hellenic Navy will hold the command of SNMCMG2 for 6 months aboard the new flagship «HS ALIAKMON».
SNMCMG2 is currently participating at the multinational exercise «ARIADNI» hosted by the Minewarfare Command of the Hellenic Fleet at Patras Gulf from 19th until 27th June 2020.
