From Friday 19th to Friday 26th of March 2021, the Fast Attack Craft (FAC) “HS KRYSTALLIDIS”, participated in the multinational exercise “SEA SHIELD 21”, which was held by the Romanian Armed Forces in the Black Sea. The exercise involved naval units and assets from the Romanian, Bulgarian, US, Netherlands, Polish and Turkish Navy, as well as the units of the Standing NATO Maritime Group Two (SNMG 2).
During the exercise, Anti Surface Warfare, Anti-air Warfare, Anti-submarine Warfare as well as Anti-mine Warfare serials were carried out.
The “SEA SHIELD 22” exercise contributed to the enhancement of the operational readiness, combat capability, cooperation and interoperability between the participating units within the bilateral and allied context.
