From Thursday 2nd to Thursday 9th June 2022, the Fast Attack Craft HS RITSOS, participated in the multinational exercise “ADRION LIVEX 2022” which was hosted by the Croatian Navy, in the region of the Adriatic Sea. On Tuesday, June 7, while at Split port, HS RITSOS was visited by a delegation of the Croatian Naval Academy Cadets.
The exercise’s Staff was manned with personnel also from the Croatian, Italian, Slovenian, Albanian and Montenegrin Navies.
The purpose of the exercise was to promote the level of interoperability and cooperation between the participants, with emphasis on addressing security challenges in the wide Adriatic and Ionian Seas.
On Thursday 09 June 2022, during Distinguished Visitors Day, the Chief of Staff of the Hellenic Fleet, Commodore Christos Degiannis, represented the Hellenic Navy.
