On Wednesday 08 June 2022, the Frigate ADRIAS participated in the exercise “SALAMIS-03/22”, which took place in the sea area southwest of Cyprus, within the area of responsibility for Search & Rescue of the Republic of Cyprus. Cyprus participated with an AW-139 Helicopter of the 460 Search & Rescue Squadron, under the coordination of the Search and Rescue Coordination Center of Cyprus.
The purpose of the exercise was to train the participants in Search and Rescue procedures as well as to further strengthen and deepen the level of cooperation and interoperability between the participants.
