Change of Command At-Sea Ceremony of the European Operation “ASPIDES”

On Thursday, November 6th, 2025, the Change of Command Ceremony of the European Operation “ASPIDES” (EUNAVFOR ASPIDES) took place at sea, with Italian Rear Admiral Andrea Quondamatteo handing over command to Greek Commodore Michail Lampiris HN.

The ceremony was held on board the Italian Navy Frigate ITS ANTONIO MARCEGLIA and was attended by the Commander of the European Operation “ASPIDES”, Rear Admiral Vasileios Gryparis HN.
