From October 21 to 23, the HNGS Chief Vice Admiral George Giakoumakis HN, attended the 10th Regional Seapower Symposium of the Mediterranean and Black Sea, in Venice, Italy.
The purpose of the Symposium was the exchange of views among Naval Chiefs and representatives of international organizations, for Maritime Security affairs. The main point of this year’s Symposium was “Enhancing Maritime Security in the Wider Mediterranean”.
Chief Vice Admiral George Giakoumakis HN, was the main lecturer in the aforementioned Symposium, developing the theme “The significance of Dialogue and Cooperation for Maritime Security in the Eastern Mediterranean – Challenges and Prospectives”
In the margin of the Symposium the HNGS Chief had the opportunity to meet and discuss issues of mutual interest with other counterparts.
