On Thursday, October 8th, 2020, the oath-taking ceremony of the first-year Naval Cadets and the Officer Cadets of the Hellenic Coast Guard, took place at the Hellenic Naval Academy.
The ceremony, was attended by the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis HN and the Chief of the Hellenic Coast Guard, Vice Admiral LS Theodoros Kliaris.
A total of forty-four (44) Naval Cadets took the oath, among which six (6) from Cyprus, four (4) from Jordan and two (2) from Tunisia as well as twenty-five (25) Coast Guard Officer Cadets.
