Co-training of Greek and German Navy Units in the UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) Operational Framework

On Friday, October 2^nd, 2020, a joint training of the Hellenic Navy frigate “HS NIKIFOROS FOKAS” and the German Navy corvette “FGS LUDWIGSHAFEN AM RHEIN” took place in the sea area west of Lebanon as part of the UNIFIL maritime operations.

The aforementioned co-training contributed to the enhancement of the operational capability and readiness of the participating units and promoted the cooperation within the UN framework.
