From Friday 19 to Tuesday 23 April 2024, a joint training exercise between the Hellenic Navy and the Spanish Task Force “DEDALO 24” was conducted in the central and northern Aegean Sea.
In the above activity participated from the Hellenic Navy, HS NAVARINON, HS CHIOS, assets and personnel from the Special Forces Command, Hellenic Air Force aircrafts, as well as assets and personnel from the Hellenic Army and the Special Warfare Command, and from Spain, ESPS JUAN CARLOS I, ESPS GALICIA, ESPS BLAS DE LEZO and ESPS REINA SOFIA.
The objective was the training in the surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, air defense and amphibious operations. This training contributed to maintaining and enhancing operational readiness as well as to promoting the level of cooperation of the participants in an allied context.
