From Monday 23th to Friday 27th April 2018, the HNGS Chief, Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis HN paid an official visit to People’s Republic of China, following a formal invitation extended by the Chief of the People’s Liberation Army Navy, Vice Admiral Shen Jinlong PLAN.
During his visit, the HNGS Chief met with his counterpart and discussed issues of mutual interest.
Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis HN visited the North Fleet Base and had a meeting with the Chief Vice Admiral Yujie Li PLAN. He also visited the Submarines Academy.
The HNGS Chief had also the opportunity to visit the Shanghai Naval Base and meet with the Commander Rear Admiral Jianxun Wang PLAN.
Finally, the HNGS Chief met with the Greek Ambassador in Beijing, Mr Leonidas Rokanas.
