From 22 to 23 May 2014, HNGS Chief Vice Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN attended the Conference of the Chiefs of the European Navies – CHENS 2014, in Portsmouth, UK.
The aforementioned Conference is held annually since 1990. During the “CHENS 2014” Conference the issues addressed amongst others were the contribution of Naval Forces in land operations, the inter-agency cooperation on maritime security and the configuration of policies to maintain highly qualified executive Officers, an issue which was proposed by Vice Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN.
In the context of the meeting the HNGS Chief had the opportunity to discuss with his counterparts, issues of mutual interest.
