From Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16, May 2024, the 11th Bilateral Military Cooperation between the Hellenic and Romanian Navy was held in Athens. The Greek delegation was headed by Captain Spyridon Pollatos HN, Director of Branch A, while the Romanian delegation was headed by Captain Ioan Marian, Deputy Chief of Naval Forces, responsible for Operations and Training.
The talks were held in an excellent atmosphere and issues of mutual interest were discussed, highlighting the desire of both sides for further strengthening cooperation between the Navies of the two countries. On the sidelines of the talks, the head of the Romanian delegation had a brief meeting with the Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Rear Admiral Georgios Floros HN.
