The submarine school is responsible for the training and the on-going qualification improvement of the personnel. The depicted courses, take place on a case by case basis and last between 3 and 6 months followed by “on the job training’’ on board. Submarine Training School trains Submarine Commanding Officers, Submarine Executive Officers, Submarine Line Officers, Submarine Engineer Officers, Submarine Petty Officers and Submarine Sailors.
