Passing Exercise of Hellenic Navy Units and SNMCG 2
On Tuesday, 20th March 2018, a Passing Exercise (PASEX) among units of the Hellenic Navy and units of the Standing NΑΤΟ Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG-2) was conducted in the sea area of the Ionian Sea.
The Hellenic Navy participated with the minehunter KALLISTO with a diving team, while the Allied Forces took part with the English HMS ENTERPRISE (the SNMCMG-2 flagship), the Italian ITS ALGERO and the Spanish ESPS SEGURA.
The exercise enhanced the operational capabilities and readiness of the units and promoted the cooperation and mutual understanding among participants.
