The Chief of the Bulgarian Navy, Rear Admiral Mitko Petev, pays an official visit to Greece

        From Tuesday September the 5th to Friday September the 8th, the Chief of the Bulgarian Navy, Rear Admiral Mitko Petev, paid an official visit to Greece, following an invitation extended by the HNGS Chief, Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis HN.

         On Wednesday 6 September, the Chief of the Bulgarian Navy visited the Hellenic Navy General Staff, where he discussed issues of mutual interest and mutual cooperation with the HNGS Chief. He was also informed about the HNGS activities. Subsequently, he visited the Damage Control School at the PALASKAS Training Centre, where he was welcomed by the Commander of the Naval Training Command, Rear Admiral Panagiotis Limperis HN and had a tour of the Command’s facilities. Then he also visited the Fleet Headquarters, where he met with the Chief of the Hellenic Fleet, Rear Admiral Ioannis Paulopoulos HN. He was informed on the Fleet’s activities and visited several warships as well as the submarine simulator.
